If I remember correctly, yes it is possible. However, always keep in
mind that such conversions often include a guess about the gamma value
of a picture or the screen. Because of this guess, it is often
suggested that conversions between screen colour spaces and printing
colour spaces are impossible and that's why we have colour profiles.

The math is everywhere on the internet. It was a lot of work to make
the scripts for my little utility, that's why I won't post those
scripts. It is still possible to do this yourself though, as the
necessary formulas are available out there to be found.
