If the message delivery time has passed before the current handler ends, the message will be delivered then. So an arbitrarily short period of time should do.

Also note that if allowInterrupts isn't set to false, the user might be able to terminate the password check script (not sure about this -- would have to test).

Again, it's relative. If there's nothing else going on in the openStack
handler, then sending in a few milliseconds is probably fine; I used 1/2 a second as something of a "safe" period of time to allow for any
setup/initilialization processes to finish running.
