Thanks Dar, unfortunately this problem the compiler complains the offending line is the 1st line in the script- which has no parenthesis and doesn't help if I retype it.


I think this shows up in two or three of reported bugs.

I'm on OS X and I'm using 2.1. I think Revolution 2.1 for OS X is a debug build; maybe that affects error handling. Or maybe it is just the IDE error handling.

I don't know- the stack traces I've been getting in Rev 2.1 when Rev crashes don't have debug symbols in them. But that's probably another issue.
