How do I avoid the flash?
There shouldn't be any flash at all, especially if you're locking the screen. Is the alwaysBuffer of the *stack* set to false by any chance?
Aha! Yes it was. Thank you, that fixes it. And you know, this is the third time over the years that I've been bitten by that. You'd think I'd learn.
