I've been using something similar in my app for several months now, and it's
working fine for me.  I can run my app in Classic mode under OS X with no
problems.  Using Rev 2.1.2 and Mac OS 10.3.2.

That's good to know. Something must have changed though because it used 
to work correctly if I remember right. I recall testing it some time ago.
