If Monte would add installation of the BitStream cross-platform fonts as an option to his installer, then we'd be one step closer to a solution.

And if RunRev would fix bug #1856, then RunRev could be the first cross-platform tool to have good cross-platform font support.

If you read the entire thread, you know that this problem is note peculiar to RR. It's a very broad and difficult problem to solve. IMNSHO, nobody has really solved it elegantly and transparently in a development tool.
