Hi friends,
could a mac user running Tiger and a Core image capable graphics
card please test this script for me?

You can make a function of this and use it to check if you can use the
new CI transitions in your stacks. In case the script works! ;-)
I ran your script on my 2004 iBook 1.07 GHz running 10.4.1 and the
script ran. The shell call returned the following:

Graphics/Displays:
ATI Mobility Radeon 9200:

Notice it reports that Core Image is NOT supported. But here's the
kicker: I have successfully used Core Image transitions on this
machine, using the new Rev 2.6 capabilities. So there seems to be an
error in the information the SystemProfiler returns.
