Really? I personally have more problems with the mouse because it moves, even when I don't want it to (as does the mousepad, as well as whatever it's sitting on), whereas, hopefully, the trackpad ain't goin' anywhere (and, if it does, I'm in big trouble 'cuz either my computer is auto-disassembling OR I'm in the midst of a California Tremblor)).
I mean, my hand isn't exactly exact. But, add to that a moving target (the mouse) on top of a possibly additional moving target (the mousepad, table, etc.), and it just seems that there are greater chances for error, precision being the same (which it may well not be), with multiple moving things than with a single moving thing. But, who knows? Makes me long for the old Hypercard (was it HC? Was it something else?) days of being able to press shift or whatever it was to "draw" a straight line.
