a breakpoint after the line you wish to step over work for you?
Yes, that does work. The failure of "step" to behave right isn't an
unsolvable dilemma. It's just that "step" exists for the sake of
saving that labor of setting _two_ (or more) breakpoints every time
you want to watch closely what happens in a short sequence of lines.
