Only on the web interface. If you are subscribed to the email side of a Yahoo group then you get the addresses of everyone who posts to the list (just like on this list), whether they post via email or web interface.

Right. Rules out scrapers, leaving only the subset of bots that will wait for and process list subscriptions, and only the posters' email is available but not that of other members.

A better solution might be to simply to make it legal to hunt [EMAIL PROTECTED] for sport.

But until then, there is no way for users to control [EMAIL PROTECTED] other than to stop using email.

Worldwide, lackluster enforcement has failed; the [EMAIL PROTECTED] have won.
