I haven't had any problems with externals at all, even with my older
copy of Parallels. Everything I've thrown at it has worked so far. One
of my projects uses libURL extensively without any trouble. Haven't
tried RevBrowser yet, but I don't see why it wouldn't work.
I haven't ever tried VMWare.
