Yes we have begun distributing the first in a series of 5 linked
applications to clients.
The applications are in the field of performance engineering (organisations
not autos!). The first is a primer, utilising the interactive education type
strengths of Rev (voice will be added to v2). The second (nearly complete)
is another education type application that trains people in the steps they
need to take to engineer their organisation for performance. The third will
take data collected while using app 2 (saved to databases) to take them
through the process of building a performance model (an organic/molecular
approach). The fourth will enable them to use online databases to populate
their models with measures (best practice and benchmarks included)
The fifth will be a monitor that enables them to check how their
organisation is performing in a holistic manner from capability to finance
to operations.
Using Rev it is an easy task to customise each module/app for a specific
client.
The first was built in 1 week by a non-programmer (me). Rev has been
brilliant as the learning curve has been so small, the flexibility so great.
And each time we needed something the discussion groups gave us the answer
before we even asked!
Already the country manager for a global software company has started to ask
questions about licensing as our applications fit perfectly with one of
their key products (which starts at $40,000!
