I have been *very* busy lately with a major project (that keeps getting
fatter and fatter), so I have been unable to contribute much lately.
But I have kept up with the list. And I notice that people are worried about
the 10-line limitation.
So I have a challenge. I promise to participate, too.
Have those who are seriously worried about the 10-line script limitations
put up a script or a walkthrough of what they want a script to accomplish.
Then we can see what can be done to optimize the script and push things into
a ten-line limit.
I promise you that it can be done. I know -- I've done it. And the
"spaghetti" isn't quite so bad as people might think.
This would be educational for all, as well as very practical for the
hobbyists among us.
Anyone game for it? Tell you what. Get out your favorite Hypercard script
and let's see what we can do. I'll bet a lot of people will be surprised.
