Oh.
You don't want fetch size. :-) Fetch size doesn't have anything to
do with the total returned records. It has to do with how many
records it returns at a time.
What you want is:
sqlMapClient.queryForList("findAllWhatevers", paramObj, skipThisMany,
getThisMany);
