Hello Nathan, please excuse, I should have mentioned that I will be using Tomcat as the container. I don't recollect Tomcat having any such features? I'm probably wrong on this one too. But, if DBCP is built into IBatis then I will go with that as the less I have to configure and futz-around-with the better. Thanks, David.
