Hi, One project got corrupted somehow and drop to a level actually wiped the objects from the object window. They remained in the view window. I reverted to a back-up file.
For what it's worth: I like drop to a level since it is an easy (for me) way to give new orientation centres to objects since the level takes as its centre the centre of the first object selected for the new level ... whereas create new level defaults its centre to the origin. I can create an object with the orientation I like, drop selected objects into that level naming the new object first, then deleting the object. I have a feeling this is handled elsewhere since there are still too many buttons I have no idea about.
