Hi Boris..
Thx for your input..!
Yep I know.. and I use Collision Detection alot when modelling..(its really
nice, would like it to be implemented as an option for all tools and so
on.....)
For example..
I often use this when I model the geometry around the eyes... its very
effective..I have special way of using it and it works perfectly..
I dont though use it the way I did in old RS, since now we have SDS.. and
creating a basic head is millions of times easier with the SDS tools then
anything back then could ever be.. =)
I only used Shrinkwrap as a workaround back then.. since I found modeling
with curves was really hard...=)
(I was really impressed by ppl back then that made awesome models..)
But it has its place now too, in some situations..and then I use it..
btw.. I really miss the 'Cumulative' option, that old shrinkwrap had prior
to V4... for cool animation effects.. and also for modelling too..
(if this is somewhere deep in V5... plz then point me to it !!!.. =)
Take Care

Hi Stefan,
Yep those rocked that could do amazing stuff back then..
I then instead used a feature in RS, the ShrinkWrap one... where I
placed Analytic Spheres and so on and then Had a Mesh Sphere or such,
that I ShrinkWrapped around the Analytics.. it worked pretty well..
=)... (alot more intuitive workflow, at least for me.., than fiddle
with build it up completly curve by curve.. =)
I think that what was called ShrinkWrap is still there. If you use
Transformation "Size" and activate "Collision Detection" and size a
cylinder down around some spheres it has the same effect. Also all other
transformation methods can be used with collision detection which give
you lots of possibilities.
