Hi Frank, I have a 2x dual core Opteron at home. It's great for rendering. I'm not sure any 3d modeller uses more than 1 processor during modelling. (with the possible exception of RS evalualting the opengl texturing in a separate thread, I think)
But getting 4 processors going at once at rendertime is great.
