Yes. Besides of RS I've been using Blender for quite a while now. Compared
to  older versions the new release is a huge leap foward. I still miss some
modeling features, but it's viewport is incredible fast and can handle a
huge amount of polygons. Hair rendering is quite good as well.

Probably one of the most impressive features of Blender (avi file - 30

simulation with inflow/outflow and influences of other moving objects (mpeg
