Nice pix Frank, Just a suggestion to others. If you intend to try any drawing (especially architectural) combining 3D and 2D and you have not had a look at perspective drawing systems then I suggest you try Google "perspective drawing". In Arjo's case a one-point perspective system was used. In Franks case a two point perspective was used.
There are other ways to get around the mixing but there is no harm in knowing something of this theory.
