Hi Jason n all again..

To simplify it abit more.. (I forgot this..)

Instead of Step 2, just select the Sphere and in 'Controlbar' click the 'Simulation' button (this will add the chor with the attributes in one go..) But, This simpler one, just seems to work with objects themselves...! (At least when you select them directly) If you need to use Levels, then my Step 2 must be done.. since if using the simpler method above on a Level RS will add the 'Simulation' Chor to the SPHERE inside the LEVEL (that you had selected when clicked the 'Simulation' button in the 'Controlbar'..

It works on Levels inside the 'Creator' Level, IF you select the 'Creator' Level and set it to 'Simulation' (but 'Creator' objects, this dont show up in the 'Controlbar' but have to be set in 'Property' Win, 'Spec' Tab (and for the 'Creator' itself to not be Simulated.. just untic that again, since it will leave the Level(s)/objects inside it with its Chors intact !)

Hope this wont be hard to follow.=)..

btw.. several of these Chors, are good to actually save for later, as templates.. ready to just Multiselect loads of objects and add saved chors in one go..

Take Care

Hi Jason..n all.

Hope this reaches the list.. =(.(didnt seem like my first did... so lets hope this does..)

Here you go..

Say you have this simple example in your 'Select' Win..

PathCurve (that you want your Creator objects to follow...)
CreatorLevel
    Sphere

1. Select the Sphere and make it Choreographable
2. In 'Chor' Window Add a 'Simulation' Chor to it, and in that chor add the
'Translate' and maybe also 'Rotate Quaternion' Animatable Attributes...
3. In 'Select' Window, MultiSelect the Sphere and the PathCurve, activate
the 'Path' Tool by pressing (Shift + a Keys) and then directly just accept
it, by hitting the 'Accept' button or the (Return Key) or whatever =)
4. Play around with 'Creation Interval' and 'Life Time' for the Creator...
and so on..

Hope I havent forgot something..

The key for it to work.. was to have the 'Simulation' Chor before the "Path"
Keyframer Chor and the 'Lattice' Chor..(which you had to create before you
mapped the sphere to the path..since otherwise, the creator action would
create the 'Sim' chor at creation time.. and therefor it would come after
the other chors..)

Hope it works now then for ya..

Subject: Creator object

Morning all

I'm driving myself nuts this morning trying to figure out how to get objects created by a creator level to follow a curve path ?

i.e. has anyone managed to take each created object from a creator level and have it precisely follow the path of a nurb curve?

Many thanks

Jason
