As for the speed of the pages, here all
around Maybe it is slower in With regular slow speed internet witch is
used by a verrry small minority here in Also that’s why there is the text
version available for others. And the text version of the page appear
first. In fact I was the only one complaning
about the speed of the website. 3 seconds is still slow for me and it was 10
seconds before the optimisation. Never got any complaint from Maxi-Foret or
their clients. One thing I hate is website that start by
loading a java app or flash for 1 minute with a stupid and useless intro of
modern art animation. Website needs to go right into the
subject. The Maxi-Foret website was experimental. I have never seen myself a website that
look like it. It may not be the best desing or
technologie, but it is different and sufficiently functionnal. Next time I hope InternetExplorer will
support .png with alpha. Or that everyone in the world will get a 20
megabyte /sec connection (In my dream). Thankyou for your comments. Remember that I wasn’t pay a lot of
money for this (350$ usd). Jean-Sebastien Perron De :
[EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] De la part de Daniel Richter Hey JS, the rendering looks much better in my opinion. I still think it's
a crime to use fullscreen images for a website, but depending on who you expect
to look at it, it may or may not make a difference.. loaded fast enough for me. As to the buttons.. is there a reason you use invisible gifs? Thats why image maps were invented, small invisible rectangles (or
circles, or polygons) that you place over an image and that work as links.. Hope that helps.. Daniel
