Hey Jean,

Y-I-P-P-E-E-!

The 3vix thing works like a dream. No probs with the either of the vids at all. Both 'The Wave' and 'Impossible Object.'

Nice work. I've only ever done one Photoshop HTML tutorial, so I appreciate the work thats gone into these. Thanx.

Well, back to my little manual. Yum-Yum. Seeing as I only been at the RS thing for a couple of weeks now, this little bottom-feeder needs his daily intake of Cherrios. :)

later...

Hi,

I have 5 partitions on my HD, and window is alone on the C :

That way, I just need to reinstall all applications

Does the tutorial about the “Impossible object” work?

You need the latest QuickTime Player and the 3vix codek.

I will test the “flag and wave” video Monday.

It’s weird, because now it should be working.

            It is here.

I am preparing a video, no not a video but a videofile with music and 400 pictures of industrial mechanics and architectures.

I did this safari photo in a semi-abandoned industrial plant.

It’s not boring but not very exiting, it’s for inspirations (3D inspiration).

This video will be called “Industrial Chaos” and focus on “mechanic part, wires, rust, dust etc”

Maybe I will put it on my website soon. Anyone interested?

Hi Jean,

Well... Life just gets wierder and wierder doesn't it :)

On my system...

Quicktime in Firefox trys to play it, but has a problem with it. It locks up Firefox.

Firefox chokes while trying to download it. (this, obviously, could be my system)

IE can download it, no problem. But chokes when it trys to make a call to quicktime to play it.

Quicktime 7.0.4 chokes on it. But, iTunes plays it, but just shows a big white screen while the timer counts down.

DivX can run it, but just shows a big black screen while the timer counts down. Note: DivX also has a problem loading the Quicktime Sample.mov that installs with Quicktime, even tho it says it can handle .MOV files, so go figure on that one.

RealPlayer v10 plays it, but just shows a big white screen while the timer counts down.
(uses a Quicktime plugin, I think)

and Winamp 5.21 just burps and stops.

...and finally, Windows MediaPlayer v10 doesn't know the file is there, but trys to play it anyways like it knows what it's doing, when you trick it into loading it. Like thats a surprise. :)

Anyways, Thats about it on my end.
Hope this helps.
