Subject: Re: Is the Line postFX broken?

Thanks for the suggestions Matthias. They're much appreciated. It doesn't seem to be working properly though. In the tutorials example, the thickness change on the sphere is far great than that on the table, almost as though it's not applied at all on the table. In other tests, my lines get dotted - the line threshold is inconsistent, drawing in some places and not others. And as my test example showed, sometimes the line thickness doesn't change at all but the intensity does. It seems using the color channel to determine line width doesn't work (?). Probably a lot of investigation is required, but I have other things to do!

Anyhow, it's quicker for me to render the lines roughly in RS and trace them by hand in a paint package. One of these days I'll try to produce something in RS and it'll work first time...

Oh, and RS is generally being buggy too. I've had the camera scoot to massive values in the position and aimpoints, which I can't change. And when I exit there's a good chance of an error that Realsoft3D is being shut down.
