Ah , this might be the link you're looking for
http://nlcommunities.com/communities/miketemple123/archive/2006/02/08/54146.aspx

http://tinyurl.com/ur7e2 if the above link wraps . Hope
that the S/W that the above page will link you to
"Webcam Timershot" (PowerToys for XP) recognizes your
capture device (what kind of capture device are you
using ?)

http://www.webcamfirst.com/ is completely free and says
it can use _ANY_ VFW capture device on your system , so
maybe this is exactly what you might need .

http://www.hilo.dk/pryme.php is free too , but not sure
what it's capabilities are .

Good Luck & please let us know which one worked OK .

Hi Beg :

Free trial here ($70 to buy) . It might do to you get
started until you find a better solution .
http://www.stopmotionpro.com./trial.htm
http://www.stopmotionpro.com/help/smp4_help.htm

Very cool pose-able stick man comes with purchase
(if delivered by mail) ! Video below .

It struck me that Web Cam S/W might be an option .
http://www.download.com/3120-20-0.html?qt=time+lapse&tg=dl-20

This one looks good and is a free trial and $10 to buy .
http://www.nimisis.com/projects/flix.php This does 640 x 480
and allows you to use Windows built in scheduler to take a
shot once a day if required .

http://www.robomagic.com/webcammagic.htm ($20) is yet
another with a free trial . Anyway , I just googled
"webcam time lapse" .

Also , I noticed Virtual Dub would not allow me to set a
frame rate below 15 fps , but Nanodub allowed me to set a
frame rate of .1 fps etc . Sorry but I do not have my video
hardware capture set up right now to test this theory .

Good luck with this neat idea , and yes , with my Vlab
Motion and Arrex I could easily do it too !

Subject: Do someone know of any good and free TimeLapse capture sw...?

Hi all..

I have always loved those Timelapse style movies...!
( On this there are some samples... http://www.timelapse.com/ )

I even had that ability on my old Amiga and an Digitizer =) it was fun..

I now wanted to use my old Video cam.. analog =), and with a TimeLaps featured sw get back doing some fun TimeLaps stuff, to later bring into RS, to combined with some char anim..., (I already tested and captured
stuff into my comp with an old Asus TV-card..)

So all I need is a good, easy to use and Free TimeLapse sw..
Preferably one with totally free setting of the capture times, even freely over time,
for example..
Long time between captures when needed (wanted)
Short times ... when needed..
Since some things have their "seasons" where they change much more, and rest of the time they change less.. Then it would be nice to be able to capture a frame every second during a period... and in another period have it capture a frame every hour.. and another period a frame per day ... and so
on..

(hope what I have written is understanable and not just a mess..=)

Thx in advance
