OK , I could not get PRS to run at all , in any way . I get
nothing but error messages at all turns . However , the simple
basic Dist Rendering method that is in the first part of my
Wiki Tutorial works perfectly (on 3 computers) .
I have the same D-link network I always had , but I have
changed my High speed connection and had to re-install my
Router S/W , but it is running perfectly so can probably
be discounted as problematic .
The only other difference has been the service pack up-
grades . I would suspect a minor bug in PRS.exe . It won't
even run on any of my computers and PRSW ("W" for "Window")
only reports a constant error message .
From here I would suspect that RS3D is not using PRS.exe
at all but are only using RenD.exe . If that is the case,
go back to using RenD.exe _only_ . Turn off anything that
corresponds with PRS(W).exe as it may just be confounding
things .
What happens when you double click on PRS.exe (not PRSW.exe)?
Is there any info in the DOS window , or is it just blank
(mine's just blank on all 3 computers) .
