It's a pain to have to keep bringing up property windows and then grabbing the proper tab to turn off WF visible and then to go back to the tab you were working with . Thought we had a toolbar shortcut ?
Yes , obviously ... 'View/Misc Tools' : (somehow missing from my current startup project's 'View' menu) : Anyway , if you'd like to customize by adding a 'WF-Inv(isible)' and 'RT-Inv(isible)' control to a 'Tabbed ToolBar' ... Start Realsoft - Select the 'Transformation' Tab on the 'Tabbed ToolBar' at top -
From the 'Customization' pulldown menu select 'Edit Gui" - From the 'Customization' pulldown menu select 'Avail Objects' -
Select the 'Tools' tab (see the attached .gif) - Select the 'WF-Inv(isible)' icon and simply "drag and drop" it to the (previously mentioned) 'Analytic' Tab - Do the same for the 'RT-(isible)' icon -
From the 'Customisation' pulldown menu unselect 'Edit Gui" -
Close the 'Available Objects' window - Select 'File /Save As Startup' - Repeat for the 'SDS' tab too if you like ... Repeat for the 'Analytic' tab also ... The 'Compass -w' also has a Hide Geometry control . studio
Most people will probably work on a RS3D file , doing many saves as they go , and labeling those saves so that a pro- ject can be backtracked easily if required . The stock 'Save As' requester is not very big and typing in those filenames can be made easier by making the reque- ster larger . Start Realsoft3D . Open the 'File/Preference' window and expand it to full size. Expand the second from the bottom - 'Graphical User Inter- face' and then expand 'Windows' and then 'Drop Target Window'. Inside is 'Main Window' . Select that and on the panel on the right hand side is a list of objects . Select 'thumbnail width' and 'thumbnail height' . At bottom you will see a 'Value' of 64 (pixels) . Change it to 200 or so . (change your auto-save time here if you like) Now open your 'File Save As' control and notice no change. Click on the current thumbnail and it will expand to the 200 x 200 pixel setting . Do a 'File/Save As Startup' to have RS3D always open it's 'Save As' requester with this larger size .
