For years I noticed that (I've reported it here twice) that when I double click on an RS file , it will launch no problem but will not render correctly due to RS complaining about certain materials not being found , even when re-directed many times .
It's one of those little 'pet bugs' I'm conditioned to take for granted, no big deal as long as the workaround is easy... maybe we can even blame Windows ;)
