Hi Andre :

  Hmm . Did you say you are running a dual-boot system ? 32 & 64 bit ? I
wonder if that is the problem , somehow ? I can't think of any reason for
V6 to be doing that , except that it can't find a .dll , or system file .

Try loading the 'render.r3d' file and load a project , then render that to
disk . Or can you render to disk OK , but not to screen ?

  Thanks Garry,
Un & re-install on typical way but still the same problem.
I'll try on Win 64 bit version.

    Andre :

Just try re-installing the program , but to the location that RSV6
chooses for you
automatically , this time . For me it was D:\program files\ . Sounds like a
simple
install problem to me . V6 would have been checked to run on all the OS's
be-
    fore it was released . Un-install , then re-install .

The 64 bit version is faster and allows for more ram to be used . See the
2 benchmarks on the RS.com site (at the bottom of the S/W Update page) .

      Vesa,
      First thanks for your message.
I download vers. 6 and start with problems:
a click on " Render the view" and/or on "Post process"
      stops the program.
This is on H.Drive with Win Vista 32 bit.
My machine is a Pentium IV 64 bit .
Is the 64 bit version of RS3D better or faster.
Wat is the difference between the 2 versions
because i heave Win XP 32/64 bit too on the same
      machine. ??

      Andre
