Hi Frank :

There are actually 3 modes to render your window in , so
one should keep this in mind when reporting problems or bug
reports concerning 'View Window' rendering .

Mode 1) Window state is full 'OpenGL rendering'
Mode 2) Window state is 'Wireframe OpenGL' rendering
Mode 3) Window state is non-OpenGL Wireframe rendering

So , the prefered method , in order to bypass any possible
OpenGL driver problems is to use Mode 3 when reporting
problems , and in fact , Mode 3 will probably cure the
problem anyway .

I think most of these kinds of problems are OpenGL related .
It could be RS but usually it is the GL driver . Same with
other apps .

The default V6 does not have an Icon for Mode 3 , so go
into 'View Properties' , and on the 'Draw' Tab , at bottom
is 'Canvas Options' . Change that from OpenGL to 'Windows
GDi' .

V5.x's wireframe Icon switched OpenGL off (Mode 3) but
V6's Wireframe Mode is Mode 2 (Wireframe with OpenGL) .

Hope that helps .

dear rs friends, I have rendered a little test scene with RS v6, I have got
such a mysterios problem... the
realsoft renderer works twice a time on my screenplay. After minimize the
rs-window gui and maximize it,
everything will be o.k.:-) ! ;-D

A picture I attach... perhaps there is a collision problem with other 3apps? So
far as I can remember
"matthias" has had a similiar problem with v 5... / does anybody can help?
regards, frank brübach
