'Tools/Unified -- /Class/mesh map ... doesn't . In fact , there's
a lot of broken stuff in here as far as trying to use shapes as
mapping objects .
*************************************************
If there's anything that sorely needed , it's a fully editable
mapping object . Non-editable Analytical mapping objects are
great for some stuff , but for nice , easy mapping of SDS objects
we need a mapping object that we can at least , Point Edit too .
Ideally , what we need is the option to :
1) Drag/Drop a texture to the SDS object and have the default
mapping actually work properly .
2) As we split/push/pull polygons , have the texture follow the
new shape of the SDS object in an intuative manner , with
a point editable method of tweaking the texture in 3D .
Maybe that's what the 'Mesh Mapping' using 'Unified Tools' is to
help with ? Can't tell , since they don't work .
**************************************************
Also , the 'Status Window' is missing from 'Main Menu/Windows/...' .
**************************************************
If we double click on an object the 'Property Window' launches .
However , if we launch the 'Main Menu/Windows/Geometric Properties'
we see that this is the exact same window (except for the title) .
