Thanks for the info!
I was wondering if there is any modifications on post effects?. Realistic lens
flare
and faster post particles would be nice (smoke fire etc.). Also will there any
additions for skeletons?
Right now handling complex models with skeletons is just too slow.

The plan is to release v7 during 3rd quarter of 2009 (in September at
latest). We do not have a complete list of new features available yet, and
some features are still under development.
Anyway, here's some quick notes:
- OpenGL: new drawing modes like wire-shaded combo mode
(www.realsoft.com/private/V7screenshot.jpg), significantly faster realtime
drawing, better quality etc.
- Rendering speed: 10-20 % speedup on average. High poly models can render
up to 10 times faster!
- Multi-core optimizations: rendering engine threads now share most of the
scene data. This improves memory efficiency dramatically in multi-core
systems. A dual core system can typically render 50 % more complex scenes, a
quad core 2 times and an eight core system 3-4 times more complex scenes as
in v6.
- New animateable deformations and animation effects
- New particle tools and effects
- New 'Real3D-like' efficient and straightforward compound tools
- Better Import/Export: new image and geometry formats supported, tools for
making 2D projections and exporting them using common 2D vector formats
(for CAD drawings) , etc.
I will post a more complete list later.
Kind regards,
Vesa
