Is there some "in between" to look at :-?

Slow but steady progress... here is a little storyboard I made (sorry for the Dutch text), still confidential, I'll show the final version after my video partner (who proposed the whole project) has edited everything and added sound. I'll start churning out the HD renders tomorrow.

I'm now probably at 60% of the animation handywork, man it's hard to make it look not too computerish but alive! A lot of choreograph curve editing too.

For the pineapple, I'm animating a nurbs curve that has the whole pineapple plus a lattice cage attached to it. This cage I'm using to animate the leaves separately. It's also the perfect tool to squeeze the fruits into the small bottle - if we decide to do that shot. What a great tool: the lattice cage! Even for modeling it could be very useful. The banana is simpler: just a lattice mapped SDS object. Much better to animate a simple nurbs curve than a bunch of SDS points!

Thanks for the interest,

Cool!
The reflections and the shadows both look great.
I think the banana needs to do a somersault; a little hop - 1st half of the roll - bounce off the stem - and on over...
: )

CheerZ! for your fine work,
Zaug
