Hi Henry, SDS object would be a mucht better approach to create such an object. SDS objects are the only kind of objects that come close to the hypernurbs/polygon type of objects in Cinema 4D. Every object in C4D nurbs or primitives generate polygons for rendering. Realsoft doesn't do that. This has advantages in some cases. But has its own limitations. You must take more care before deciding which type of tool would be best to create what you want. You can't start with a mix of primitives, nurbs and booleans and then weld everything together in a polygon object to continue modeling further, for instance.
