I don't know if it is your case, but pay attention: usage of Magnolia
bars will introduce some javascript and css..
they are well scoped, so they should not create any conflicts. But
anyway, be aware of this fact.
Suggestion: use Firefox with Firebug extension to investigate css
properties. You can find overrided css rules on your markup.
