Hello again, I deployed the files from the trunk now.
I still cannot start magnolia, but at least the previous error with the adminInterface-version doesn't show up anymore. A little progress thanks to Ralf. This is displayed now as it was before: Error listenerStart (date,time) org.apache.catalin.core.StandardContext start Context [/magnoliaAuthor] startup failed due to previous errors. IMNFO: info.magnolia.cms.beans.config.ShutdownManager ShutdownManager.java>execute>:128> (date,time) Executing shutdown tasks Shutting down Log4J WARN: The method o.a.commons.logging.impl.SLF4FLogFactory#release was invoked. (It is described here: http://www.slf4j.org/codes.html#release It is said there, that this jar should not be in the WEB-INF/lib of the application, which it is, it schould be within common/lib of Tomcat (mine is 5.5.25). Moved it there, even Tomcat does not get up anymore. So I go back to the beginning) I also get: log4j:WARN Continuable parsing error 29 and column 23 log4j:WARN The content of element type "log4j:configuration" must match "(renderer*,appender*,(category|logger)*,root?,categoryFactory?)". And finally I get: Incompatible magic value 791292426 in class file info/magnolia/module/forum/setup/ForumModuleVersionHandler If I do remove the module-forum-jar again and everything is back alive. You have any idea? I am beginning to get a little frustrated about this. Thanks and I really appricate Your support so far.
