Hi Giancarlo,

yes, that helped. I thought that there might be some changes. Will try it.
....
First of all: it works, with a server error. What is missing to version 3.x is a
node:
type jsp
After I introduced it, it is working well now.

Overview:
subTemplates
 -xml
  -extension:xml
  -path:/templates/whatever/and/ever.jsp
  -type:jsp

Thanks a lot Giancarlo!

Hi Hartmut

Sorry, I forgot to mention that the name for the "SubTemplates" node
changed in 4.0, you have to name the node "subTemplates".
Another thing to note is that the content node name for the extension
is relevant. In 3.x version it was not relevant what content node name
you used, important was the node data. Now the content node name is
relevant, so if you have e.g. the extension "xk", then node name MUST
be "xk" as well.

Hope this helps!
Cheers

Hi Hartmut

Yes, it's still possible. You still can develop Web sites the "Traditional Magnolia" way.
Are you asking because it does not work for you anymore?

Cheers

Hey list,

is it or not possible, that I can't produce xml, html, pdf any more with the SubTemplates which worked in 3.x?

See "the old times" (were better?)
