We are upgrading from 4.01 to 4.1 and our regression testing has thrown up the following problem We are using default edit controls, configured to have multiple rows (i.e. html textarea). If the user saves data that has multiple lines in (the lines are separated by carriage returns) the value in the node tree ends up being base 64 encoded with a type of 'base64Binary' - Because of the way we access content, this will cause us problems. We didn't see this behaviour in 4.01. The saveInfo doesn't seem to imply that any encoding will take place. Any suggestions as to why this encoding is happening and if appropriate, how to stop it?
