Dear Magnolians
I'm a bit stuck here with a custom control that I'm trying to build. This control needs to know the node where the data should be stored in (or at least it's parent node). Now, if you use a dialog to edit an existing node this is no problem because the node is passed in to each control with the init() method. But when a new node should be created, of course no node is passed in.
Is there any way for the control object to know where (handle) the node will be created once the dialog is saved?
