Hi Olaf
If you have separate site tree branches for each language you will
most likely end up duplicating content. That's why I mentioned
"multilingual sites" as an example. You can however keep multilingual
info in one node with the i18n support build into magnolia:

Hello Will,
assuming that we want to use the power of Magnolia's composite pages
(ie multiple paragraph types in one page) for our news and projects
i would say that both News and Pages will be website-pages, but the
galleries will be Data Modules. What would be the next logical step
after this decision?
I assume creating dialogues, templates and paragraph definitions for
both news and projects? How can we keep these compatible with and
use the power of STK? Do we need to do something special for this?
Is there some way to define a schema or something and automatically
create the dialogue and paragraph definitions from this schema?
For galleries i assume creating a new data module type, and
corresponding dialogue? After that, how can we access these items?
How can we have multilanguage on all of the content above?

Olaf,
Where do you store your news, projects and galeries?
i have no idea, what would be the best place to do this? Data
module? Regular webpages?
Pro website:
- content can be searcht by <cmsu:simplesearch />
- one page per content (i.e. "project" or "news" details) = one url
= better for google
Pro data:
- more logical if you reuse the content in various places (i.e.
multilingual site)
- Google-safe urls can also be achieved by using selectors
We often argue about this one ourselves. Often there is no right or
wrong.
