I had a similiar problem some time ago -
http://jira.magnolia-cms.com/browse/MGNLSTK-421 , maybe that's what's
causing you so much trouble - I'd suggest upgrading to the newest
version of Magnolia and STK (version 1.1.2 should be available soon:
http://www.nabble.com/STK-1.1.1--td25437734.html), if that doesn't
help try the cms:out tags.
