I'm using Magnolia Enterprise 4.2.3 and the enterprise commenting

Should I conclude from the lack of responses to this question that
this
is just not possible?
You could extend SingletonParagraphTemplateModel or create your own
class, to automatically generate the comments paragraph, I used it
myself to generate a paragraph in the base area and it works fine, it
should work for you as well. Basically you just need to create the
node and assign the template name.
