or you can use our backup/restore jsp scripts [1] when you'll 
update the backup script - remove the existing entries and add 
something like 

backupChildren("website", "/path_to_your_website");

or of course export to xml from GUI or call the export servlet with
appropriate parameters are also a backup possibilities fit your needs.

So you have at least four ways how to proceed, life is full of freedom 
when using Magnolia CMS ;)
