Hi, as to Magnolia+Eclipse integration, you might have a look at this page in our wiki http://wiki.magnolia-cms.com/display/DEV/Eclipse. True, as someone else already said, java classes hot re-deploy only works if you don't make any structural changes to them, e.g. adding or changing methods signatures. In those cases, you'll still need to restart the web server.
