Hi,

I am not sure whether this is possible right out-of-the-box, but I am
sure you can do it with just a small development. If you are not in real
hurry, wait for version 4.4 (to be released soon, I hope) which should
support ModeShape[1] and then you'll be able to configure Magnolia to
use filesystem (or almost any other storage) for the content you need to
manage.
