Hello, I am trying to configure magnolia to use an external user database for authentication (groups and roles can be managed by magnolia) and user data (e.g. purchases, addresses, etc.) used for user profiles.
My first thought was that I need a custom ExternalUser which would require a custom UserManager, but I'm not sure how to deal with groups and roles here as I would like these to be handled by magnolia. Has anyone had similar concerns and found solutions? I would appreciate any help regarding the necessary steps (what needs to be implemented? what needs to be configured?) to achieve this?
