I have used the "Using a single WAR file with multiple configurations" documentation (http://documentation.magnolia-cms.com/cookbook/using-a-single-war-file-with-multiple-configurations.html#Contextlistenerreadspropertiesfiles) to refactor my codebase to allow a single war file to be dropped to the tomcat webapps directory as magnoliaAuthor.war and magnoliaPublic.war and allow tomcat to read the config from WEB-INF/config/magnoliaAuthor and WEB-INF/config/magnoliaPublic respectively.
All seems to be fine from a theory perspective however there is no mention of what to do with the context.xml file and this is where I have problems when deploying the webapps as tomcat keeps complaining about ROOT. Currently, I have META-INF/context.xml for each of my webapps (before the move to a single webapp for multiple configurations). What is the recommendation regarding context)? As I will have the same war file dropped to the webapps directory as magnoliaPublic.war and magnoliaAuthor.war and will require the context to point to the correct webapp. -- Context is everything: http://forum.magnolia-cms.com/forum/thread.html?threadId=59423865-b9dd-4b69-8f20-bb8f5c75cdb3 ---------------------------------------------------------------- For list details see http://www.magnolia-cms.com/community/mailing-lists.html To unsubscribe, E-mail to: <[email protected]> ----------------------------------------------------------------
