I have a small web app, made with Spring, that I would like to integrate with Magnolia.
I have a web made with Magnolia and on one page I have a form. I would like the submit of that page to call my webapp, pass it its request variables (via POST) and return a list of data. I have been looking at Blossom and also the Integration Options in the Technical Guide, specifically the Custom Servlet section. Blossom seems like overkill for what I want to do. But if I were to use a Custom Servlet, can the Custom Servlet live outside Magnolia, ie. in another webapp on the same Tomcat server? Or is there a better, easier way to do this?
