... I do wonder why you want the full URL's to be case insensitive. What particular problem are you trying to solve?
I cannot speak for Anubha, but what about e.g. trying to do some backward compatibility with an old IIS/Windows powered site (now replaced with Magnolia)? You know, Microsoft implements some (many) standards in a very ... ehm, creative way, and IIS interpretes URLs as case-insensitive (at least old versions I had the "luck" to tackle with). Anyway, just adding the filter could be not enough, you also have to prevent users (editors) from creating more pages that have the same case-insensitive representation, otherwise you'll end in a problem what to serve to http://localhost:8080/xyz.html request, if there are in fact /Xyz.html, /xYz.html and /xyZ.html pages. ;-) Regards, J.Ch. -- Jozef Chocholacek JBoss Community Website Team www.jboss.org -- Context is everything: http://forum.magnolia-cms.com/forum/thread.html?threadId=1ae297b8-98cf-42b1-a005-86fef0a9aca4 ---------------------------------------------------------------- For list details, see http://www.magnolia-cms.com/community/mailing-lists.html Alternatively, use our forums: http://forum.magnolia-cms.com/ To unsubscribe, E-mail to: <> ----------------------------------------------------------------
