I'm trying to test out moving my website, which I've been working on in the
author instance, over to the public instance. I followed the steps in
http://documentation.magnolia-cms.com/administration/deployment/changing-author-to-public-instance.html.
After this I was able to sort of view my website in the public instance, but
none of my changes to templates, CSS, etc. got moved over. I can probably
figure out a way to do this but is there a recommended way to do it, and if so,
why isn't it included in the documentation? Also, should the changes in the
documentation (set /server/admin to true, etc.) be made in the public or author
instance (I assumed author).

Also I'm confused about the
/modules/adminInterface/virtualURIMapping/default/toURI. I tried setting this
to "redirect:/eagle-ravine.html" as seemingly suggested by the documentation,
but when I try to "visit the published website", from localhost:8080 on my test
system, it still goes to demo-project.html.

Thanks,

- paul r.
